Arnix Mitra Privacy Policy

Arnix Mitra is a hyperlocal service marketplace that connects people with nearby technicians, electricians, plumbers, clinics, shops and other local service providers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.
1. Location data
With your permission, we use your device location only while the app is open and in use (foreground). We do not collect background location and we do not track your movement.
Location is used to match you with nearby providers, sort listings by distance, and pre-fill your area, city and pincode. Service providers may set their business location manually on a map; that business location is shown publicly with their listing.
You can decline or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings. The app still works — you can search and choose your area manually.
2. Account and profile data
When you sign in we store your mobile number and basic profile details (name, area, city, pincode). Service providers additionally store their business name, category, contact number and service location so customers can reach them.
Ratings and reviews you submit are stored with your account. Review text may be shown publicly on a provider page; personal contact details are never shown publicly.
3. How we use your information
To show relevant nearby services, enable calls and bookings between customers and providers, display ratings, show locally relevant advertisements, prevent misuse and improve the app.
4. We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared only where strictly needed to run the service (for example, secure hosting and database infrastructure) or where required by law.
5. Data security and retention
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with access rules that restrict each record to its owner. We keep your data only while your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations.
6. Your rights and account deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or permanent deletion of your account and all related data at any time. Write to us from your registered mobile number or email and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, listings, ratings and saved location data.
7. Children
Arnix Mitra is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

If we update this policy we will revise the date above and publish the new version on this page.
